Microsoft XP: - INTERNET EXPLORER START PAGE -

204| Wed, 28 May 2008 20:33:00 GMT| gauravsehgal| Comments (2)
My internet explorer start page always automatically sets itself to
http://www.msn.com. I keep changing it to about:blank, but as soon as I
click OK, I go back into the properties and it's changed back to msn.com.
How do I correct this problem?

Thanks,

Gaurav

I had this problem with my old PC also, if its blank, sometimes IE will just
automaticlly pick the last page set as the Homepage, if it has it as "blank"
it thinks it hasnt got a page to load, and so seems to be picking one to
substitue the problem. All i can reccomend is finding a page you DO use, like
Hotmail, a favourite site, anything will do, you don't always have to want to
use that page the moment you load up IE, it just fixes the browsers confusion
as to what its meant to be loading ^^ that should stop IE getting confused as
to what its loading, and will generally make it easier to load.

Hope this helps!
