Microsoft XP: delete winxp pro.

i am using winxp pro and i want to delete ? i am having win 98 startup disk but the pic start with that bootup disk with cdrom support or without cd rom support my original drive is misplaced and my secondary drive is becoming my original drive so plz hel
p me about that how to find my original drive with win 98 start up disk plz help without using fdisk command how should i delete and install win 98

Hi,

If the original drive is in NTFS, you will have to use fdisk and delete the
non-dos partition, and then create a primary dos partition. When finished,
exit fdisk and reboot to the floppy and format the new primary dos partition
(at this point it should be seen as C rather than the other drive). There is
no way around this as you cannot install Win98 on a NTFS formatted drive.
